Vanilla was always my favorite ice cream flavor growing up, and this n’ice cream brings me right back. Sweet and creamy and tastes like vanilla- it takes just 4 ingredients and a blender!
4 Ingredient Vanilla N’Ice Cream
Equipment
- High-powered blender
Ingredients
- 2 bananas, frozen
- 1/3-1/2 cup unsweetened, non-dairy milk I like unsweetened almond milk, plain
- 1 tbsp raw almond or peanut butter (natural, low or no sodium) Can substitute other nut butters of choice
- 1 tsp alcohol-free vanilla or 1 vanilla bean
Instructions
- Let the bananas thaw about 5 minutes
- Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender. Tips: Use a tamper to help it mix.Add a small amount of additional nondairy milk – 1 tbsp at a time, if needed. (Caution if add too much at once, will turn into shake).May need to turn off the blender and scrape sides. Also, can help blend if use lower speeds initially.
- Enjoy right away, or freeze for an hour before serving.
Notes
Great in a dish by itself.
Can also get creative with toppings – berries, cinnamon, cacao nibs -> delicious, and add anti-oxidant effect.
