These are shaped as cookies, but can be eaten for breakfast, snack, or any time of the day. They are as sweet and delicious as they are wholesome. They are our go-to dessert, and we usually have some stored in the fridge. I even give them away as Christmas cookies!
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 cups oats
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped raw walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mash bananas with a fork or potato masher
- Add rest of ingredients and mix well
- Form into 2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
- Flatten into cookie shape
- Bake for 20 minutes
