I'm back! I'm currently redesigning my programs in Aspen as well as creating new group options. It's both clinically proven, and based on personal feedback, that people obtain improved results and enjoy the process more when doing it together and supporting each other. With this website, I hope to inspire you to want to change your lifestyle to be your healthiest, happiest self!
There is so much new information in lifestyle medicine over the past decade, that we now have the knowledge more than ever before to protect, maintain, and counter many common illnesses and ailments. We can live long, happy, healthy lives with energy and vitality. Our bodies have an amazing capacity to heal and protect ourselves, if given the right tools. But we must make these choices. We truly are what we eat, and what we put into our bodies, including our perceptions, makes all the difference. We would never put poor quality gasoline into our cars and expect them to function at their best, so why would we put poor quality food or negative thoughts into our bodies and expect the same? We must put the highest quality food and beliefsi that we can, and we will be delighted to get back our best selves.
The challenge is yours. If you should so accept, I would be honored to work with you, help you design an individualized diet and lifestyle plan, taking into consideration your busy life, taste preferences, restrictions and food allergies/intolerances, and many other obstacles or concerns that may arise. We will start with education, and learn why to choose certain foods over others, as well as how to prepare them to maximize their nutrient content. I will go over why the standard American diet leads to so many illnesses, and how we can choose differently. We will design a diet and lifestyle that suits your particular needs and preferences, and I will help you plan, shop, and cook fabulous (while simple) meals that you and your family will love. We will also discuss the effects of stress on the body, and simple ways to reduce its affects and/or alter your perception of it. And we will dig deep into the root cause of you illness, working hard to help your body achieve and re-establish health again. I am offering evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle counseling that can truly change your life. I hope you accept my challenge, and I wish you the best of luck with your journey!

Meatless Monday is a non-profit initiative of The Monday Campaigns, in association with the Johns Hopkins’ Bloomberg School of Public Health. They provide the information and recipes you need to start each week with healthy, environmentally friendly, meat-free alternatives. Their goal is to help you reduce your meat consumption by 15% in order to improve your personal health and the health of the planet. Visit Their Website!

He is a leader in the culinary world, and sets an example of how gourmet and delicious healthful cooking can be. He is also one of the talented chefs who works with Dr. Furhman, a world-renowned physician who uses nutrition to reverse disease and improve health. Martin creates and prepares nutritarian dishes for these workshops, which are attended by people from around the world. Stop by if you are in town - enjoy the most flavorful foods, with all of the health benefits and a beautiful environment!
